Step by step

Correct the text
Compare the transcript with the actual voice. Review negatives, amounts and proper nouns particularly carefully. Plausible transcription can still change meaning.

Adjust segmentation
Match each group of words to the spoken phrase. Avoid long lines and caption changes in the middle of a meaningful phrase.

Check styling
Choose readable sizing, stable contrast and a position that keeps the subject visible. Check every aspect ratio separately, then watch without sound.

“We do not deliver on Mondays”: one missing word can reverse the message. Approve the text before adding word-by-word animation.
Review checklist
- Names and numbers are accurate.
- Text does not cover faces or essential information.
- Translated captions have been reviewed in the target language.
Troubleshooting
Words are misrecognised
Listen with headphones and correct against the source. If ambiguity remains, ask the speaker for the intended wording.
Captions are cropped on mobile
Move text away from edges and destination-platform controls. Check the exported file, not only the preview.
