Getting started
Prepare a first project, turn footage into an edit and review a publishable video.
Before you begin
- Choose a short, representative clip and keep a copy of the original.
- Define an audience, a destination and one message. Editing requires an activated product workspace.
Step by step
- 01
Write a simple brief
Record the key message, essential moments, target duration and publishing format. A clear objective makes the first version easier to evaluate.
- 02
Build a first version
Prepare your files and follow the upload and editing guides. Start with the story structure; subtitles, sound and styling come afterwards.
- 03
Review before publishing
Watch the whole video, then check the voice, text and framing separately on a phone. Keep the approved version alongside its export.
Practical example
Brief: “Show an artisan process in 30 seconds, vertically. Keep the final gesture, one explanatory sentence and the workshop name.”
Review checklist
- The message makes sense without seeing the original.
- No cut changes the meaning of a sentence.
- The exported file plays through to its final frame.
Troubleshooting

The first result misses the brief
Restate one priority and identify the affected sequences with timestamps. Avoid changing pacing, wording and format simultaneously.
